About Lane Learning Center

Dr. Kenneth A. Lane was raised in the Philadelphia area and served for four years in the Marine Corps after graduation from high school. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1969 and moved to Texas in 1970. Dr. Lane attended the University of Houston College of Optometry from 1973 to 1977. He founded the Lane Learning Center to help learning disabled children in 1985.

• Private Optometric practice since 1978
• Clinic Director, since 1980, of the Lane Learning Center (formerly Lewisville Learning Clinic). This is a multi-professional clinic that is designed to evaluate and treat children with learning disabilities.
• Awarded Fellowship in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (F.C.O.V.D.) in November, 1993
• TX State Director for College of Optometrists in Vision Development 1995 - 1996
• Northeastern State University College of Optometry Adjunct Professor, 2005
