Sample Instructions:

Have the child say the numbers in each row aloud going left to right. Do not let your child use their finger. If they skip a number or lose their place, let them continue and finish the exercise. For the exercise to be done correctly, the child is not to skip any numbers. When they have finished, record the time at the bottom of the exercise.
