Laterality
Laterality is the ability to know “right” from “left”. We use ourselves as a reference point in understanding an external object or word orientation. If a child has difficulty in understanding their own “left” and “right”, they will have difficulty with a word or letter's proper orientation and this may cause letter or word reversals.
