Simultaneous Processing

Simultaneous processing is the child's ability to solve problems that must be solved by looking at many parts of a problem at once rather than one part or feature at a time. Simultaneous processing is important in learning the shapes of letters and numbers, deriving meaning from pictures, understanding the main ideas of stories or comprehending the meaning of difficult paragraphs.
